Christians who believe Jesus Christ is Lord (fully God and fully man), that He must be your Lord in order to be your Savior, and that salvation is all God's doing and none of ours. Most of us are from the PMR group (Pretty Much Reformed)

Post by Adam Tue Feb 10, 2009 2:54 pm

I download the following from itunes to listen to at work.

    -Albert Mohler
    -Paul Washer
    -RC Sproul
    -John Piper
    -John MacArthur
    -Wretched Radio (Todd Friel)
    -The White Horse Inn
    -The Dividing Line

    Secular: Rush Limbaugh

I highly recommend them all. Anyone have other suggestions?

Good stuff. I don't have an Ipod, but wouldn't mind getting one when the economy makes its sudden reversal and peace on earth begins.

I'm not sure if I've ever listened to Todd Friel, either on this new show or the old one. That's probably because I didn't have much regard for things like Way of the Master back when I was in the "Truly Reformed" camp. But I never really got into White Horse Inn either.

Here are some that I subscribe to (some of them I haven't listened to that much):

-Steven Lawson (Christ Fellowship Baptist church-Mobile)
-Jeff Noblit (Anchored in Truth)--the pastor of the church Washer is affiliated with
    -Erwin Lutzer (Running to Win)
    -Alistair Begg (Truth for Life)
-Russell Moore (SBTS dean--not quite a 5 pointer but quite good nonetheless, he often guest hosts Mohler's show)
    -9 Marks Audio
-Steve Kreloff (Verse by Verse radio)
    -Martyn Lloyd-Jones (Living Grace)
    -Founders Ministries Podcast
    -Baptist 21 podcast
    -Masters Seminary Chapel
    -Masters Seminary Faculty Lecture series
    -Southern Seminary Chapel
    -Capitol Hill Baptist Church Audio/Podcast

The late Dr. S. Lewis Johnson is excellent and I can't recommend him highly enough. There's no podcast, but there are many messages available for download at http://sljinstitute.net

Wretched I listen to every day.
Paul Washer as much as I can.
I also like Fighting for the Faith (Pirate Christian Radio)

But if I'm not listening to those, I generally am noddin' to Shai Linne, Lecrae, Flame, or Tripp Lee - all reformed rappers. (did I mention I'm a 38 yr old head-covering housewife from Connecticut? ) farao

I have pretty much the same stuff on my mp3 as the rest of you. I downloaded just about everything I have by Sproul and MacArthur onto it, and I also have some White Horse Inn, John Piper, and a few others. The only music I have on it is Brian Littrel's album "Welcome Home." I'm not too much into contemporary Christian music, though I do like the few good songs that have come out of the genre.
